Educational Institution Programs

PDC offers SCUBA training services for educational institutions

SCUBA diver training requires study and education in math, physics, biology, chemistry, a practical understanding of environmental and earth sciences, some engineering, psychology, leadership and leadership development, and much, much more as it relates to the activity of SCUBA diving. Training to be a SCUBA diver promotes athleticism, personal confidence and self-awareness, team-building, critical thinking and complex problem-solving, and contributes to development and growth as a well-rounded individual.

Pinnacle Diving Company offers customizable English-speaking SCUBA Training and Education Programs (STEP) to educational institutions as an elective for students aged 15-years-old or older, adults, staff, and individuals who require or may require SCUBA diving for current or future professional needs (scientific programs, survey programs, conservation programs, etc.).

Customizable programs may include any number of courses, may be designed to last as short as one week (7 days), or combined programs (designed to produce certified Master SCUBA Divers) can last a full semester, and are tailored to fit the institutions desired needs.

Curriculum for every course comes already fully developed through the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and PDC staff, and are ready for inclusion into a SCUBA Training and Education Program (STEP) any English-speaking educational institution requires or desires for their students and staff.

NOTE: Students under the age of 18 require an interview and signed parental consent prior to participation in any program.
