Commercial Vessel Services
Inspections, Cleaning, and Polishing Services
Pinnacle Diving Company can provide detailed underwater hull inspection, cleaning, and propeller polishing services for certain commercial vessels either pier-side or afloat.
PDC is capable of offering commercial companies:
- Detailed underwater hull inspections, surveys, and condition reports,
- Underwater photography and videography documentary services,
- Condition reports of surfaces, through-hull equipment, sea chests, thrusters, propellers, shafts and hubs, cutters, rudders, and more,
- Biofouling removal and hull cleaning,
- Propeller cleaning and polishing,
- And more.
All inspection services include detailed photographic imagery of hull surfaces, grates, ports, thrusters, bilge keels, anodes, counter weights, shafts, screws (props), rudder, sea chests, equipment, and more, and full-length HD video of inspections are available upon request. We can provide inspections for the purposes of hull condition / dive reports, damage assessments, pre-cleaning and post-cleaning, and more.
Our divers bring with them both commercial and military diving experience, and are capable of completing inspections, cleaning, and polishing operations in a safe and efficient manner.
We will provide a written report, complete with summary of findings, condition report, and all images/video, for you company's documentation purposes.
Pinnacle Diving Company is an expeditionary diving service, and we will even travel to your location if requested to perform the inspection you need, and may offer some cleaning capabilities if able.
We are more than happy to travel to you, and are willing to provide our services across Japan, and outside of Japan, however, please understand that travel and per-diem rates will be added.
Rates and Fees
Our basic hull cleaning rate is ¥2,000 JPY per foot for all commercial vessels.
Our basic propeller cleaning and polishing rate is ¥1,000 JPY per square foot for all commercial vessels.
Our basic inspection rate is ¥1,000 per foot for all commercial vessels.
Our Diver Daily Rate is ¥35,000 per day per diver.
Administrative Fees are included at no extra cost.
Tax: VAT will be added.
Environmental: An environmental fee might be added for pier-side services depending on restrictions.
Additional Rates: Double the Basic Rate may be charged for heavy growth with FR ratings 70 and greater, and coverage at 75% and greater. If work is performed out at sea (afloat), a Boat Usage fee will be added, and if work is performed outside of our local service area (Kanagawa and Tokyo - Bay Area), travel and per-diem rates will be added.
Payments may be made by credit card or bank transfer, whichever your company prefers.
Principle is responsible for all bank transfer fees.
A Payment Processing Fee of 3.25% will be added for all credit card payments.
