Pinnacle Diving Company can provide dive training and certification programs to organizations (such as Scout programs), high schools, and universities, either as an individual course or a semester-long program for academic credit, and NAUI diver training programs can help those interested in underwater sciences pursue a path in scientific diving opportunities.

Training to become a SCUBA diver requires study and education in math, physics, biology, chemistry, a practical understanding of environmental and earth sciences, some engineering, psychology, leadership and leadership development, and much, much more as it relates to the activity of SCUBA diving. Dive training and certification programs promote athleticism, personal confidence and self-awareness, team-building and esprit-de-corps, critical thinking and complex problem-solving, and contributes to the development and growth of well-rounded individuals.

PDC provides SCUBA Training and Educational Programs (STEP) to both public and private organizations, high schools and universities, NGO's and NPO's, and more, by contract as a stand-alone course or as a semester-long accredited program. We provide English-speaking diving services and training equally to all who meet age requirements and health requirements to participate in training. Individual courses are possible at any time, while semester-long programs typically provide a pipeline of multiple certification courses and dive opportunities for students. Programs that account for academic credit typically fall into the electives category, and university students interested in scientific diving are able to use NAUI training to meet requirements for scientific diver programs.
